Buying used Riff Box V1

I intend to buy a used Riff Box v1 from the internet, according to the seller it is an original box but he seems not able to remember his ID/PW.

My question is can I use Riff Box without connecting to the internet (Server) if I had downloaded the "RIffBox Setup 1.56" (about 10GB) from the internet?.. I intend to unbrick Samsung Galaxy Note 1.
