Hi, Sorry to seem totally clueless (i am) but as a silly fool i left me car out in the snow for two weeks resulting in me needing a new battery, got one fitted yesterday and now as predictable i have no code for the stereo. I brought the car a month ago second hand and it didnt have a manual.Its a R scenic, Where do i find those long codes that you need to quote to get the code?

The radio has to be removed from the dashboard

Then quote the 14 character SERIAL NUMBER beginning with
RN* * * * * * * * * * * * found stamped in the metal casing.

Also quote the SECURITY NUMBER. This is found on a label on the metal casing in the format TOA123 or TA123 or just A123 at the end of a barcode

If in doubt post ALL the letters+numbers on any labels or barcodes

Hi,I am looking for the code for my megane. I found a sticker in my manual with a code if 0272 this doesn't seem to be it, the long number I also found is vf1bmrf0531442085 also says p.j.i 1320684 can anyone help please.
