    Hey everyone!

    My battery died and i cant find my card with the number.. and Opel want to charge me 40 EUR to get me a new one... -.-
    But what i dont understand is.. what kinda numbers is it you guys need for getting my code?
    Is all those numbers located in the Manul for the radio?

    Ive tried to find the answer around here but.. nothing

    Have a 2 hr drive tomorrow morning so i hope that i will get it workin before that

    The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

    First remove the radio from the dashboard.

    Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels,barcodes and a 14 character Serial Number stamped in the metal casing.

    This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated

      oh my.. well ill try remove it.. lol u know its a built in one, but there is 4 holes where i guess i can stick something in to release the radio and find the labels back there somewhere, ill be back soon with the information if i can work it out how to remove the front

        0071838
        DC 409/75 626KW 351
        KALEX 3k 188

        Hope those helps :S

        it was the only numbers a found on the labels

          Sorry....your VDO CDR2005 radio code will only be available from the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service

          It is unlikely to be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet
