Sorry....will only be available from the Main Dealer or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service to obtain this code

It will not be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet

I have rang VW and just encase other people want to know who are in a simlar possition

you have to supply either the FULL CAR REG or VIN number and proof of purchase then VW main dealer will decode for £10.00 plus vat

The only problem with having to obtain from the V W dealer AND paying is that the code given will be the original radio code but if the code does not work for whatever reason (such as radio changed or database error ) then there is no money back guarantee.

The better option is a Radio Decoding Service because they will "read" the working code inside the radio`s memory chip (EEPROM)

                    Multiple post....Already answered

Please do NOT post the SAME request in more than ONE thread

It is not necessary....and can cause confusion

Thank you, but when I turn on the Radio, first number is alredy selected as "1" and I can't change, when I press "1" one time, this disappear, if I press "1" two times, appear...
So, the code need to start with "1"? Or, how can I change first number?

try leaving it as a blank and put the 170 in
