van radio code

bought a tipper van couple yrs ago, having battery problems, my problem is the radio code i can't get the radio out to see serial number. the radio is a RDS 400 cassette radio the van is a ford transit tipper 90 T350 06 plate, can you help? thanks

The radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display your Serial Number

Otherwise the radio will have to be removed from the dashboard and then post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

It usually begins with M++++++ or V++++++
