suzuki ignis radio code

Thanks for the code - I know this sounds stupid but how do I enter it as when I turn the radio on it just shows SAFE and doesn't allow me to enter any values. I've tried turn it on while holding every button but no change !
HELP PLEASE :-P

Leave it SWITCHED ON...UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to automatically reset itself.

This can take an hour or longer

after having some work done to the wifes car the radio is now asking for a code, (which i do not have) as the battery was disconnected. Having removed the unit (Blaupunkt) the info on it is as follows;
