Sorry.......this is insufficient information

The radio has to be removed from the dashboard

Then quote the 14 character SERIAL NUMBER beginning with
RN* * * * * * * * * * * * found stamped in the metal casing.

Also quote the SECURITY NUMBER. This is found on a label on the metal casing in the format TOA123 or TA123 or just A123 at the end of a barcode

If in doubt post ALL the letters+numbers on any labels or barcodes

I tried to input but the display doesn't even want to recognise my typing in the numbers. It just stays flashing 0000.
Any thoughts?

It's possible that the garage tried (and failed) to input a code and were locked out. I suppose I'll have to call Renault?

Make sure you press the final button that stores the code (¬ or 6 or 5 ) for at least 10 seconds
