2440 is definitely the correct code for Serial Number M232063 (the one it left the factory with )

Make sure this is the Serial Number on the label on the radio casing

2848 has been checked and is the correct code for M158925

Check this Serial Number again.

Make sure it is the one printed on a label on the radio casing
