Hoping somebody can help, ive tried many sites with my serial number from the unit, and it just doesnt work. They cant give me the code for some reason.

The serial number is GM020543283775

Its a CDR2005

I have other numbers writeen down from the stickers on it as well.

Unfortunately the majority of codes for radios made by SIEMENS / VDO (including yours ) are not obtainable for free from anywhere on the Internet as access is required to the original factory database which is only available via your Main Dealer and is not commercially available.

The alternative is a Decoding service or local Car Radio / Audio Shop who will plug in a laptop to read/recode the radio`s memory chip using special software.

indeed, how did you get one with it, i do see programs around but you need hardware too. Seeing around btw is on utube
