May be better to drop out the "... E40..." in the serial number:

          BE0830X6414791

9145 is definitely the correct code for BE0830X6414791

If this Serial Number is correct and your radio still fails to accept the code 9145 then your radio may have been recoded in the past to a different number

The radio is labelled with a sticker to prevent opening the metal covers. It might have been in repair at Becker in Karlsbad in the past, because there are some stickers on.
On the back plate is written "BE51X42".
Does it heps to find out the recoded code. It might have been set by Becker that time.
                Thank you!

What would be the code if I mix up both numbers (serial and replace the part around the X with the written BE51X42) to:

                  BE0851X4214791

thank you for the last try!

Your only solution now is to take it into a Radio Decoding Workshop where they will open it up and decode/recode the code memory chip ( EEPROM)
