Renault Clio Radio Code

Hi - Help Needed.

A few weeks ago I had a new battery fitted to my Renault Clio and of course, did not have the radio code. After much internet research I've managed to remove the radio (with a little help from by brother), luckily my radio code was written on the radio itself and I've entered the code using the controls on the steering column, however after entering the last digit and pressing the bottom button (to confirm the code), nothing happens, the first digit just keeps flashing.

Am I doing something wrong? - Please help!

Further to my earlier post - I've now sorted it. For anyone else with the same problem, all you have to do is: after entering the 4 digit code, instead of tapping the bottom button, hold it for 5 seconds and the radio comes on. Waheyy! It's only a little thing but life is great once again!!
