I wonder if someone could help me please. I have a Rover 200 with a phillips r660 radio, usual story: I changed the battery and didn't have an unlock code for the radio supplied when I bought the car. Details of the Radio:

There should be a 14 character Serial Number somewhere on the radio (usualy stamped in the metal casing)

It should begin with RG or RN or PH or similar

I wonder if someone could help me. the battery died on my Mum's old Rover 25 and since it restarted the radio now wants a code, we can't find the documentation with the radio code on it.

The available database only goes as far as late 1999 radios

Anything earlier is usually OK
