I've tried the code but it doesn't work!

Am I doing something wrong? I am entering the code and then pressing the tuner button and it just makes a beep noise like when I've entered an incorrect code? Any ideas what could be going wrong?

7817 has been checked and is the correct code for the numbers given.

Make sure you press the final button that stores the code ( ¬ or 6 or 5 ) for at least 10 seconds

Hi, I recently switched off my battery and need the radio unlock code... i have a renault clio with the manufacturers radio/CD player fitted...so Ive no idea what the serial numbers are etc, as I cant physically pull the unit out! any help? As I need these numbers to access the code!!
