but after installing new battery in the car the old 0000 code won't work anymore
i will try you'r code 3834 but i cant put in any code now
it still hanging on CODE in the screen for about 2 hours now
is there a way to reset ? so i can type in the correct code again ?

Leave it SWITCHED ON...UNDITURBED for as long as it takes to automatically reset itself

This may take an hour or longer

HI,

I have recently purchased a 2004 Laguna II with Cabasse head unit and CD changer.
The CD changer does not accept any input and information on forums said disconnecting the power will resolve...
Disconnected power (after checking I had a code in the book). Entered code 6989 - not accepted...

The barcode on the unit reads: 8200063200TD319
I fear someone may have had the code changed. Please can you let me know if the above code should be correct for the serial number?

If the code in the book shows the unit has been reprogrammed I am considering replacing the units with a double din head unit.
If I want to go down this route will I need any fascia adapters? Is there an adapter which will retain the display?
