Thanks for the code im trying to enter it i need help with the correct procedure.
Im turning ignition on then i press the on button on the stereo then i hold th as button the disply is just not showing anything its just lit up yellow.Any ideas?

Code Entry as Follows:

Turn Off Stereo
Switch On Ignition (No Need To Start Engine)
Press & Hold Preset " AS " and
Switch Radio On - Display Shows
" SAFE " And Then Shows " 10 - - - - "
Press preset " 1 " repeatedly for 1st Digit
Press preset " 2 " repeatedly for 2nd Digit
Press preset " 3 " repeatedly for 3rd Digit
Press preset " 4 " repeatedly for 4th Digit
If the correct code number is now shown
Press & Hold Preset " AS " Until the Unit Beeps

after i press switch radio on button nothing happens the display is completely yellow

you have a hardware problem.

are you saying the display is broken or the radio? the radio illuminates when i press the on button although the display just stays yellow could it be a fuse for the display.Its a Holden Combo van 2004 xc model.

since i bought the car the display screen is lit but doesnt display anything eg time or temp could this be because the previous owner didnt give me a remote control key he just gave me a standard key and i have been using the key in the door to unlock the door.Please help as I want to get the cd and radio going.

If the display is not working properly try entering the code "blind" by adding one extra press to each digit of the code

So press ON and AS..hear beep (If you do not hear beep leave SWITCHED ON ..UNDISTURBED for a couple of hours then try again )

Then enter 5 8 6 8 by pressing the buttons 1 > 4 with one extra press on each digit

6 9 7 9

Press AS and it should beep again....then work

Thank you guys it worked inputing the code blind,now radio work.
My display screen is all yellow could this be from burnt globes behind the display,I heard to check you shine a torch at the display,do I shine the torch from the front or the back of the display?Thanks in advance guys

Hi I finally got my hands on a replacement clock display,my problem is that the clock shows up and the time and date but no cd or radio information.I reset the battery and put the radio code in blind the cd plays but no display at all for the cd player.Thanks in advance
