Hi, hope somebody can help me please. I have a Freelander 2 SD4 HSE 2011 model number SALFA2BE8BH236310 . It was bought second hand but did not come with the radio code. Does anyone know how I can get the code please.

I don`t recognise the information quoted.

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

First remove the radio from the dashboard.

FREE Car Stereo, & Radio Removal Guides Database

Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels,barcodes and a 14 character Serial Number stamped in the metal casing.

This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated

I had been told I could get the radio code by offering up the VIN number, but this is obviously not the case.
Have looked at the link you gave for radio removal, but mine is a very large unit and has totally different internal fixing points with a lot of trim removal

It is far to complicated for my very limited skills to remove the radio, so will reluctantly have to go to the main dealers.
