Hi I'm new to the site. I recently bought a second hand Citroen and cant get the code for the radio. Please help if you can. Details on the radio are... Model No. PSARCD111-08
    Prod No. FD0006040042424
Also as I have never had to put in a code for a radio before. How do I put it in? Do I just push the number in and hold or have I to do something else beforehand. Would really appreciate any help I receive. Thank You. Bunty2105

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

First remove the radio from the dashboard.

    Removal Info here

FREE Car Stereo, & Radio Removal Guides Database

Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels, barcodes and a 14 character Serial Number stamped in the metal casing.

This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated

      Citroen xsara radio code

      Thanks for your reply.
Apart from the numbers I have quoted from the label on the radio, the other numbers are:-
      VDO RD3-01
      VDACEF 60042424
      Ref. Citroen 96 599 994 XT00
      VDE 0042424
There is a number punched into the casing which is 020029
I hope this is of some help. Again. Thank you for your time. Bunty2105

This unit is VIN coded which means it has to be electronically linked to your car.

This is a job for the Main Dealer or a Radio Decoding Service

There is no free or cheap solution on the Internet
