I came across this forum via this thread:

...and I'm hoping the community here can help enlighten me as to what exactly is going on here. The users asking for radio codes in that thread are posting mostly M serial code types, but the radio codes I'm getting in my M code generator don't match up with those that Goncalves is providing, and yet they still seem to work for the users asking for them.
What's going on here? Is Goncalves using a different calculator here - if so, which one, and how does he know to use that one? Why is it that the M radio code calculator doesn't work for these particular radio models even though they have M-type serial numbers?
I would really appreciate some help with this, I'm just someone that wants to learn. Thanks in advance.
